Bitter & Pour Officially Launches “Bareback Really Hard Seltzer”
Rochester, MN: Today, Bitter & Pour, home of the cage-free cocktail, officially launched its new “Bareback Really Hard Seltzer.” Available in limited quantities at Southern Minnesota drinking establishments, Bareback joins other major brands in the meteoric rise of hard seltzers over the past year. Bareback took over a year to develop in the lab and uses a proprietary method to combine water, alcohol, and bubbles to create a seltzer that is not only hard but really hard. Bitter & Pour has a patent pending for this unique process.
Bitter & Pour owner and General Manager, Andrew Ferguson, commented “we decided it was the right time to lower our standards and enter the hard seltzer market. Trust me, Bareback is a real game-changer. We built it from the ground up using the cheapest ingredients we could find. We spared everything in designing this drink.” Andrew added, “we anticipate a great demand for this product, and we are certainly up for the challenge.”
According to Rochester native, Carl Underhill, “I used to drink proper cocktails that were crafted with care and the best ingredients possible, but that all changed when I tried my first can of Bareback. At that moment, I knew I had to lower my standards right away. I was ready to move on from adult beverages.”
Bareback riding is a form of horseback riding without a saddle. It requires skill, balance, and coordination, as the rider does not have any equipment to compensate for errors of balance or skill. “Bareback Really Hard Seltzer has absolutely nothing to do with horseback riding. We just like the name” said Ferguson. “When life gives you lemons, go Bareback.”
